Protecting your personal data is important to us. We process your data exclusively on the basis of the statutory provisions (GDPR, DDG, TDDDG). In this privacy policy we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing within our website.
The controller responsible for data processing is: Logic Screen Solutions GmbH, Bussardweg 26, 76356 Weingarten, Germany. Phone: +49 7244 60980-0. Email: contact@logicscreen.solutions.
Each time our website is accessed, our system automatically collects general data and information: the browser types and versions used, the operating system used, the website from which an accessing system reaches our site (referrer), and the IP address in the form of server log files. This data does not allow any direct conclusions to be drawn about your identity and is required for the secure and stable operation of the website (Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR). The website is hosted on servers operated by us in Germany; fonts and all other resources are served locally from our own server, without any data being transmitted to third parties. Server log files are deleted after 30 days at the latest.
When you use our contact form, we process the details you enter (name, email address, company if provided, budget band and your message) solely to handle your enquiry. The enquiry is delivered to us as an email via our own mail infrastructure and is not stored in a website database. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR (pre-contractual measures) and Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries). We retain the correspondence as part of our business communication and delete it once no statutory retention obligations remain.
Our product newsletter uses the double opt-in procedure: after signing up you receive a confirmation email, and the subscription only becomes effective once you click the confirmation link. We store your email address, the selected language, the times of sign-up and confirmation, and the IP address used at sign-up as proof of your consent (Art. 7 (1) GDPR). The legal basis for this processing is your consent (Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR). You can unsubscribe at any time via the link contained in every email, thereby withdrawing your consent (Art. 7 (3) GDPR); unconfirmed or unsubscribed records are deleted.
To protect our forms against spam and abuse we use Cloudflare Turnstile, a service provided by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Turnstile is only loaded when you interact with a form — never when merely viewing a page. In the process, your IP address and technical characteristics of your browser are transmitted to Cloudflare in order to detect automated access. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the security of our website (Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR); its use is strictly necessary within the meaning of Section 25 (2) no. 2 of the German TDDDG. Cloudflare acts as our processor (Art. 28 GDPR) and is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Further information is available in Cloudflare's privacy policy: https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/
Our website does not set any cookies and does not use any tracking or analytics services. Only two technically necessary settings are stored in your browser's local storage (localStorage), and only when you choose them yourself: your language selection (lss-lang) and your colour scheme (lss-theme). These values remain exclusively in your browser, are never transmitted to us or to third parties, and can be deleted at any time via your browser settings. No consent is required for this (Section 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG).
We send transactional emails (e.g. replies to enquiries, newsletter confirmations) via our own transport-encrypted mail infrastructure. No external email marketing provider is used.
Processing is based on Article 6 (1) GDPR: lit. a (consent), lit. b (performance of a contract), lit. c (compliance with legal obligations) and lit. f (legitimate interests).
Personal data is deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of storage no longer applies or a statutory retention period expires. The specific retention periods for the individual processing operations are described in the respective sections of this policy.
At any time you have the right to confirmation, access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, as well as the right to withdraw consent given at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise your rights, simply send a message to contact@logicscreen.solutions.
As a responsible company, we refrain from automated decision-making or profiling.
